Inspired by generations of family land stewardship and a lifelong connection to nature, Blue Heron Habitat and Event Center was born from both legacy and renewal. In the wake of Hurricane Helene, the mission expanded into creating a protected environment where gatherings, arts, and celebrations help fund wildlife preservation, habitat restoration, and educational initiatives.
